Fyrinnae Meerkat Pressed Eyeshadow is described as a vibrant pink-purple with gold shimmer and sparkle highlight. It appears as a gold shimmer on a sheer magenta base. It is a very unique shade that I can’t compare it with my other pink-purple eyeshadows on hand. From the Fyrinnae pressed eyeshadows I’ve tried and reviewed, this one got the most glitter in it and had a few fall outs. It is a very sheer shade and is non-staining on skin. It lasted 6 hours on me with no base or primer and 8 hours with a base or primer. The pigment is best appreciated when applied over a sticky base.
This is the most sheer shade for a pressed eyeshadow I’ve tried from Fyrinnae. It got the most amount of glitter on a pan too. If you are not a fan of glitters, this isn’t the product for you. However, if you are a glitter worshipper and hated how some pressed eyeshadows out in the market got tremendous and horrendous fall outs, then definitely this is your best option. If compared with similar products out in the market today, like Urban Decay’s Moondust and Stardust or Mac’s Pressed Pigments, this is WAY better in terms of formulation, ease of use and pigmentation. Fall outs are minimized with the use of a sticky base like Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy.
