MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick is described as a deep-toned beige with a matte finish. It appears as a warm peach beige on me. It is creamy in formula that doesn’t tug or pull when applied and with a little bit of a sheen finish to it. It only averages for 3.5 hours of wear on me, with coffee breaks and meals in between, which is very short in terms of longevity considering it’s a matte finish. It is very lightweight and got that signature vanilla scent in all MAC lipsticks. It is non-hydrating and slightly drying on the 4th hour of wear. It tends to fill in the cracks of my lips as it dries down.
The Bottom Line:
I love how this lipstick looks on my skin. It is that type of a nude shade that won’t make you look like a corpse bride. It is a perfect pair with a bold or neutral smokey eye. This is my new go-to nude color if I want to wear anything bright and bold on my eyes. It also is easy to apply as it got a creamy formula and it just glides without pulling or tugging. The downside of this product, that I can think of, are its longevity and it tends to fill in the cracks of my lips. But nonetheless, the formula is superb that it’s slightly comparable to the high-end ones.
